N3twork, a mobile game company has announced that it has secured $40 million (£30.9m) in series C funding. According to the company, the funding will be used to expand its first-party games portfolio, media network and live publishing platform.

The funding round was led by Griffin Gaming Partners, KPCB Holdings, Galaxy Digital (via its Galaxy Digital EOS VC Fund), and Korea Investment Partners.

N3twork is also preparing to fully deploy its media and community app, The N3twork, in 2020. Neil Young, the CEO of N3twork said: “Mobile entertainment is now at the center of our daily lifestyle and everyone plays games. We are incredibly focused on creating a company that can fully realise the opportunity through combining the best games, the best developer platform and community network to entertain every type of player."

In August, Israeli startup Lightricks raised $135m (£111.3m) in its latest series C funding round. The company will be using the funds to develop innovative AI enhanced content creation tools by making strategic acquisitions and expanding business across the world. The funding round was led by Goldman Sachs Private Capital Investing, ClalTech and Insight Partners.
